The Vasculum's design is inspired by 18th century botanists, who used hard cased bags to collect field samples.

Of course, this modern version by Atelier Arminho can be used in a variety of ways, think of it as a statement handbag or present your dried flowers in it.

The Vasculum has a lid on the front and side, making it easy to store and retrieve your finds. Moreover, it comes with a small notebook where you can write down all your notes and reflections.

 

the maker

Atelier Arminho is a small design studio from Viseu, Portugal. The warm couple behind this studio, João and Raquel, met while studying in the small town of Caldas da Rainha. Both in love with art and design and as their designs reveal, passionate about vintage, nature and unique books, they decided to make notebooks together. Not much later, this idea grew into an entire collection of handmade products elaborated in every detail.
